Tasnim – TEHRAN, Branko Ivankovic will remain as Persepolis football team coach for one more year, the Iranian club’s General Manager Iraj Arab said.

Ivankovic left Iran for Croatia after winning Iran’s Hazfi Cup last week while Persepolis still owes him salary from his spell in charge of the team.

The Croatian coach had said he would return to Iran after receiving his payment.

Arab said they have completely paid off this deb and Ivankovic remains Persepolis coach for one more year.

Under guidance of ex-Iran coach, Persepolis won three successive Iran Professional League titles.

Persepolis also won Hazfi Cup and two Super Cups.
