Nourollahi jersey auction proceeds to go to Iran flood survivors

Tehran – TEHRAN, The jersey of Tehran derby scorer Ahmad Nourollahi will be auctioned to raise money for Iran’s flood-hit area.

Ahmad Nourollahi scored Persepolis’s winning goal against arch rivals Esteghlal on Saturday in Iran Professional League in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.

The player’s jersey will be sold by Iranian Red Crescent Society in a ceremony to raise money for the flood-hit people.

Iran has been hit with three major floods over the past two weeks, with a combined reported death toll of 45 people.

Floods have affected at least 23 out of Iran’s 31 provinces and they also may face serious troubles.
