Brighton manager Hughton: Jahanbakhsh needs time

Tribal Football – BRIGHTON, Brighton manager Chris Hughton is confident the club’s record signing, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, will benefit from consistent playing time.

The £17 million Iran international has made two appearances for the Seagulls since returning from Asian Cup duty.

Hughton told The Argus: “I think in and out he showed some really good qualities.

“He is back with us now and I think what he needs is a sustained period of being with us and training with us, with no interruptions, and he will be better for that.”
