Tasnim – TEHRAN, Ex-Persepolis forward Godwin Mensha joined Esteghlal football club on a one-and-a-half year contract on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old Nigerian striker parted company with Persepolis in the January and opted to join Persepolis arch-rival Esteghlal.
Mensha joined Persepolis from Paykan in May 2017 but didn’t meet expectations after scoring five goals in 42 games.
Mensha had been also linked with Sanat Naft and Tractor Sazi.
Esteghlal had also signed Bissau-Guinean striker Esmael Goncalves and South African midfielder Ayanda Patosi.
