Asian hopefuls primed for glory

AFC – KUALA LUMPUR, Four Asian teams have announced their squads on Monday for the men’s and women’s Youth Olympic Futsal Tournaments Buenos Aires 2018.

Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq are the Asian representatives in the men’s tournament, while Japan and Thailand are in the women’s.

The Asian hopefuls will join 16 other teams – eight in the men’s tournament and eight in the women’s – in the two events.

The competitions, which will take place between 7-18 October, will be staged at two venues in the Argentinian capital: the Futsal Main Stadium (Tecnopolis) and the CeNARD.
