Tehran Times – TEHRAN, On the occasion of the Week of Natural Resources, March 6-13, the head coaches of Iran national volleyball and football teams expressed their appreciation for nature by planting trees in Tehran.
Igor Kolakovic accompanied by top officials of the Iranian volleyball federation planted a sapling on Sunday.
With the motto that ‘I Am a Forester’, Carlos Queiroz, too, planted a tree at the Saipa club, in western Tehran.
Ali Daei, who was the former Iran coach, and now the coach of Saipa, former Persepolis and Iran coach Ali Parvin, Iran national basketball captain Hamed Haddadi, and basketball coach Mehran Shahintab were all in attendance at the tree-planting ceremony.
The families of Iranian oil tanker Sanchi’s victims took part in the ceremony in remembrance of their loved ones.
