AFC – ISFAHAN, After posting their first win of the 2018 AFC Champions League two weeks ago, Zobahan will look to record back-to-back home victories in Group B when they face Al Wahda at Foolad Shahr Stadium on Tuesday.

Goals from Morteza Tabrizi and Mohammad Reza Hosseini saw Zobahan defeat Lokomotiv 2-0 on Matchday Two, having suffered an opening-day loss to Al Duhail. The Iranian side currently site second in the standings ahead of a double header with the group’s bottom side.

Al Wahda were on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline with Al Duhail last week and the Emirati team are now in desperate need of points, having lost two from two. A third loss on the bounce would make knockout round qualification extremely unlikely.

Zobahan and Al Wahda last met in the 2010 edition of the competition, with both winning their respective home games 1-0. The results were the only similarities in their campaigns, though, as Zobahan would ultimately reach the final, while Al Wahda exited at the first hurdle with just three points to their name.
