Tasnim – TEHRAN, Farshad Ahmadzadeh has been sidelined for approximately one month after undergoing surgery on a sports hernia on Sunday.
The Persepolis midfielder has missed his team’s crucial match against Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia in the second leg of the AFC Champions League semi-final in Muscat, Oman on Tuesday.
Persepolis has lost 4-0 to Al Hilal in the first leg.
Ahmadzadeh will also miss Iran Professional League fixture against Esteghlal in Tehran derby is scheduled for Oct. 26.
The 25-year-old player expects to be released from hospital on Monday.
