Tasnim – MUSCAT, Jordanian referee Adham Makhadmeh has been chosen to officiate the match between Iran’s Persepolis and Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia in the second leg of the 2017 AFC Champions League (ACL) semi-final clash.

The highly-anticipated match will be held at the Sultan Qaboos Stadium in Muscat, Oman on Oct. 17.

Persepolis lost to Al Hilal 4-0 in the first leg.

Makhadmeh, 30, has already officiated Persepolis and Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia in the ACL quarter-finals.

The Jordanian also officiated Iran and China match in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifier at the Shenyang Olympic Sports Center Stadium last year.
