Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iran is set to release the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification stamp.

Iran’s Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Masoud Soltanifar has sent a letter to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi, requesting to release a stamp commemorating the 2018 World Cup qualification.

Iran advanced to the 2018 World Cup in June after defeating Uzbekistan 2-0 in Group A in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.

The three-time Asian champion became the second nation after five-time champion Brazil to qualify for the finals by securing a fifth World Cup appearance at the 32-team tournament.
