Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Chinese Super League side Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng has made an official bid to sign Persepolis defender Mohammad Ansari.

The 25-year old player joined Iranian giant Persepolis from Azadegan League side Shahrdari Tabriz. Ansari quickly became a first team regular at the left back position and was one of the surprise performers of the 2015–16 season.

He has caught the eye of several clubs including the Chinese side Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng, who has made a 650,000 USD offer for him.

Ansari was called up to the senior Iran squad by Carlos Queiroz for friendlies against Macedonia and Kyrgyzstan in June 2016. He made his debut on 10 November 2016 against Papua Guinea in a friendly match.

Persepolis has already lost Omid Alishah and Ahmad Norollahi due to their military services as they both will join Tractor Sazi in the winter transfer window.
