Persianfootball.com – FRANKFURT, 25-year-old Ehsan Hajsafi joined German Bundesliga 2 side FSV Frankfurt on Sunday.

Hajsafi, who already watched the club’s 1-0 win over St. Pauli from the stands today, signed a two-year contract with the 13th placed team of Germany’s second highest league last season.

The left-footer, who can play any position on the left side as well as in central midfield, had spent most of his professional career at Sepahan Esfahan so far, earning three domestic league and cup titles and once finishing runners-up in the AFC Champions League.

Sepahan chairman Asghar Bagherian had already expressed his sorrow over Hajsafi’s switch on Saturday, saying the player should have opted for a stronger league, but explained the club is unable to hinder Hajsafi from transferring due to a clause in his contract.
