Loading...Persianfootball.com – TEHRAN, Iran’s national team training camp began on Sunday with only domestic players being present.
However, reports from inside Iran confirm all of the eight invited legionnaires will join the national team.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh will join the camp from the Netherlands on Monday as first foreign based player while Mojtaba Jabbari and Steven Beitashour will be the latest and are expected to join the rest of the squad by the end of the week.
Iran are preparing for an Asian Cup qualifier versus Thailand which will take place in Tehran’s Azadi stadium on Tuesday October 15.
Also Iran’s u-23 squad resumed training today.
