don't care if Haghighi plays for barca he makes blunders each and every game

Pair up PAG with Hosseini so both of our CBs arent slow. Play Ghafouri on the right. CQ wil almost 100% start Hajsafi at LB even though I want it to be Mohammadi.

Teimourian/Ezzatollahi in the middle. Jahanbaksh as RW. Hajsafi/Torabi on LW. Reza/Dejagah playing as a CF/CAM behind Azmoun.

Doubt CQ uses Taremi but the extra height could help.


Want to add that our squad is significantly stronger than the one that played them in Azadi last time. We had Ansarifard/Old Karimi/Khoso Heydari in the Starting 11 and no one on the bench to add spark. We are a lot deeper now.

Obviously Qatar may have improved as well(lets hope not)

The good thing about having Carlos Queiroz as head coach is that he will make sure he does his homework with Qatar and China. Whether they go into the match defensive or offensive vs both these teams, they will go hard against them and there's not a damn thing they can do about it

You are right in not predicting that it won't be a blow-out or that Qatar will park the bus. Unfortunately for them the squad they chose doesn't let them park the bus without issues. CQ will have definitely done his homework. Some of Qatar's players(Soria, Tabata, Meshal Abdullah) make up their attack line. It'll be hard for these three to park the bus and attack as well because they are all over 32 and are losing their legs.

I can see Qatar play a 4-2-2-2 with the squad they chose and they would be dangerous on the counter, but they'd also need a lot of work by their 2 DMs to stay in the match at all.
