Time to take action against fifa & uae league | PERSIAN GULF

You probably know that UAE has been using the incorrect term for Persian gulf for their league and is using FIFA to promote their racial and political agendas against us. http://www.fifa.com/world-match-cent...090/index.html

Our country needs us once again to Fight for what's ours --> PERSIAN GULF! We need to start bombarding FIFA's email account and their telephone lines with our complaints and firm stance.
WE NEED TO SHOW THEM WE EXIST AND WE WILL NOT ALLOW OUR IDENTITY TO BE VANISHED BY FIFA !

Remind them that, UAE is using the FIFA platform to promote their PAN Arabic political and racial agenda.

We all know FIFA announces that they are against politics and racism, but reality is the complete opposite in the case of Persian Gulf.

Gamal abdu Nasser was the starter of the Pan Arabic political movement, He was the first to call Persian Gulf *#$* gulf , this is some thing that has to be reminded to FIFA that this is a political and racial agenda against the Iranian people and their historic identity, since the 1960's , if FIFA is not familiar with their agenda, we need to educate them.

We Iranians, Must not tolerate any attack on our national identity by any nation or organization such as FIFA.

I just called FIFA's media representative and expressed my complaint and disappointment. I urge you to do the same thing.

If you are a TRUE Iranain, Please CALL or EMAIL! LETS MAKE THEM CHANGE THE NAME.

I urge you all to send one email daily/weekly or call them if you can. now that we dont have an incompetent IFF and an anti Iranian regime, Its up to us to defend our identity.

We did the same thing on PFDC when QATAR was selected for 2022 world cup and they used *&&* gulf in their promotional videos. Its Time for another FIGHT!

Please note that the term 'Arabian Gulf' was first coined by Pan-Arab nationalists in the 1960s as an offensive and racist term used primarily to irritate their Iranian neighbours. This is an inflammatory term, and an attack on Iran's national Identity and sovereignty, its a political agenda with which FIFA should not be associated.

In stark contrast, The Persian Gulf and its equivalents in different languages have been continuously used for 3000 years in all languages, cultures, and civilizations across the world. More than 2000 ancient literature, books and maps belonging to the past three millennium contain this name as proof of the Persian Gulf as the correct nomenclature.

The correct, legal, terminology recognized by the United Nations is the 'Persian Gulf'.
The group of experts on Geographical Names was set up by the secretary-general of the United Nations in pursuance of economic and Social council resolution 715A(XXVII) on April 23, 1959 and has endorsed 'Persian Gulf' as the official name for this body of water.

The use of the name 'Arabian Gulf' was described to be 'faulty' by the eighth United Nations conference on the standardization of Geographical names, Berlin, 27 August September 2002.

FIFA's inaction regarding a member country that mixes racism and political agendas with sports is contradictory to FIFA's principles and slogans. Any region or country that tries to rename Persian Gulf based on purely race is not only promoting racism and political agendas but also defying FIFA's principles.

We need assurance from FIFA, that UAE will be forced to change their league name as its a racist and a political act against the Iranian people.

When I was in Dubai, I saw a street which said A-Rab gulf. We can yell until our faces turn purple but they have the money and the power right now(A-rabs) and we have no power, money or much world respect unfortunately. I sure hope things change.

Bastards. I have just called FIFA and this is what happened:

I brought up the issue about the incorrect name on the website of FIFA. I started with how big the site is and how they provide us with footballing news, just to be kind to them. After that, he asked what the issue was about. As soon as I started about ''an incorrect term of the Persian Gulf'' , he said that I must e-mail them. Now that baffled me, and I asked him why he can't answer the issue through the phone. Again, he replied with ''send an e-mail to us''. I aksed him if he is even aware of the problem and he answered ''not at all.'' (pretty horrible lying if you ask me). Now the most ugly part of them came up when I said:

''I will, thank you for being polite and have nice day'',

he just hung up the phone without saying anything.

Honestly, these bastards are avoiding it constantly by saying we must send an e-mail and they will reply, while they actually won't. They say they don't know about the issue, yet use the false name of the Persian Gulf.

I'm definately not done with and I will call them tomorrow again, untill someone provides me with further information instead of the usual BS ''e-mail us''.

I agree and if you read my signature you know where I stand on this issue. Just because Hillary Clinton used the word A-rab Gulf, I am not going to vote for that C word woman. She also said some other things about Iran I didn't appreciate. There is no other woman who deserves that word more than her. This will be the first election that I will vote Republican just because of that one comment she made.
