Damn!! Its a shame he didn't get a gold. Bronze is still great for him though, at least we got our first medal!
He has done 383, 382 before in asia and world championships, but 385 was alot!
Sohrab Moradi who failed has done 388 total in asian championships before! its a shame he couldn't make it past the snatch...

KA aziz,
I have to disagree. I think Iran would benefit tremendously if Turkey hosted the Olympics in 2020. They are bordering nations and will have major support from its own fans and the region as a whole.

It will be another 30/40 years at least before Iran could even think of hosting an Olympic tournament, provided that IR is gone soon and Iran hasn't been carved into a dozen pieces by then.

Dude drop it. We just repeated what the commentator said and if you were watching, his wrist was bent bad in the snatch. It's like you guys feed off of this shit. And how do you know he's not injured and that's not the reason why he couldn't go for it all the way???Originally posted by K. Nader View PostNothing to be ashamed of - was it not 15 minutes ago that people were saying that he injured his wrist? Well done to him!
Anyway congrats Rostami. Made Iran proud.
