that was a huge blow to grizzlies....hollins has been over playing his main players the last 2 weeks of regular season to get home advantage...he finally gets it and BLOWS the first game after being up by so much. Instead of playing some of his bench when he's up 27 he keeps the main players on to make sure they finish and win. But they were tired and worn out so they lose the lead and at that piont he cant sub them cuz the bench hasnt really played....so he runs them til last sec and they lose.


grizzlies have a good bench, hollins needs to learn to trust them a bit, after all they are not horrendous where they can ruin a game, and many time they actually do better than the main squad. So if he wants to go far in this series and playoff in general he needs to learn to rest his main players.

IMO because of this lost, grizzles will loose the series. how can you comeback from this meltdown.

wow, I saw the score on nba.com, see the grizzlies up by 27. Minutes later, I see people's facebook status' that Clippers have won lol

grizzles just lost the first game to LA clippers. they blow a 25 pt 4th quarter lead to loose by 1 pt. one of the greatest comebacks in NBA history. HH did not play.

i dont get why hamed hasnt been playing....instead of playing hamed hes going with speights and randolph who are both power forwards.....from what i last saw hamed was playing pretty well when he was getting chances. must be frustrating to be hamed....hopefully hollins will start playing him soon

^^not sure what is going on, but what i know is that the team and the fans love HH and support him. it would be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season. HH will be a unrestricted free agent and hopefully he will get a better contract on the west coast. I think any of the Californian teams would be a good choice for him. we just have to wait and see how he does in the playoffs.

HH played in the last game of the season, about 3 min, 2 rebounds, no points. his 35th game of the season.

grizzlies clinch the 4th spot on the west and home court against LA Clippers. Play-off starts on Sunday night.

LA clippers lost today and they finish the season 40-26. which means for the moment grizzlies are in 4th place. if tomorrow grizzlies beat Orlando they will have home court in the playoff against LAC. both LAC and LAL have tie breakers over grizzlies. if they loose tomorrow they will end up in 5th place again and loose home court to LAC.

so 1 game left for memphis, and 1 game left for lakers...clippers play today and tomorrow....which means the good news is memphis will either play clippers or lakers...so haddadi should get some time

however all 3 can end up with the same result of 41-25 what happens then? who gets 3rd, 4th and 5th ?
