most suicides of iranians even ones living overseas is due to family issues. rafati probably was the same scenario. hope gets well soon and gets the help needed!

I wish him a full recovery. Nothing gets me more sad then those who attempt or succeed in suicide.

Guest repliedpoor guy. i really hope that he will be fine, and like said before, can getover his problems.
a personal anecdote: at my school, there was a boy from my grade last year in high school, that was on the baseball team. All of a sudden, during practice, he said he was going to kill himself according to what his teammates said. he ran out of school and went to the top floor of a hotel right next to our school, adjacent to where my highschool soccer team was practicing. then suddenly i heard the loudest scream ever then a thump. he died in a hospital. because of his suicide, his mother recently commited suicide. so sad really. Suicide is never ever the option in my humble opinion.

That's really strange. Why a suicide and why right before the match?
Hope he recovers and get past his problems, whatever they might have been!

according to several German news papers, Rafati has been found in his hotel room, he has cut his wrist. The officials started to get worried because he never showed up in the stadium...
