Try running the 40 in your high school and in the combine which are measured through a laser guided sistem. The difference between a 4.3 and a 4.5 is having enough speed to go to the D gap and break it for a touchdown or get stuffed for a two yard loss.
By the way I know that there is more to being a quarterback than throwing the football. The quarterback is the leader of the football team that is why the offensive linemen break their ribs for him. They got to believe in you otherwise they won't block for you with passion. You need to be the manager and not try to win the game on every down and let the game come to you. That is what most high school quarterback's and even college quarterbacks don't understand.
Oh and just for your info high school football in Southern California is played at the highest level along with Texas and Florida. Those are the three hot spots for HS football. The way you make it sound I"ll bet I would of been the star defender on your team.
My position the middle linebacker aka the MIKE position is like being the quarterback on defense. As the MLB you are responsible for anyone who comes up the middle and it's not just brute force either. You as the MLB need to read the quarterback and also change up the defense if you see an audible. You are basically acting like the quarterback on defense.
Hey Raiders might actually go 7-9 or 8-8 and be at least a respectable team. As for Detroit they are not even in rebuilding mode they are like in pre rebuilding mode. I like Matt Stafford last year though that was a solid pick. I would watch Bo Jackson and Barry Sanders as a kid so that is how I ended up following Raiders and Lions.
