yea but people said Messi will never catch Ronaldo beause he cant take freekicks and head the ball which was true last season and before that but this season (and last game against united in the final ) he showed he can head the ball, and now showing his freekick skills. he is still improving.

Messi has improved in heading, getting few in and there, however Ronaldos got such a great leap and physique. He's really underrated in the air.

I know We should not talk about this right now but Cristiano is still showing he is one of the best or at least the 2nd best after Messi , Incredible game by C.Ronaldo Today against Getafe . He is not steeping back either he is showing himself that he always present in La liga lool

Nobody doubts he is incredible. But there is somthing about Messi only seen in legends and extraordinary players that come about once in a century.

I think at this point in time, everyone agrees that technically and vision-wise, at age 22, he is the greatest that ever played the game. He humbles everyone all the time, because he is also relatively modest.

and someone mentioned the last 4 (actually 3) winners of the player of the year won CL, well the last one that didnt led his team to the world cup, and i believe spain will win the world cup and if they do villa should get player of the year.

Funny game that was...Ibra pissed my off with constant misses of easy chances, he is so bad in front of goal (that game). then every time Ibra fails an easy chance Messi scores right after from NOTHING creating a goal by himself dominating performance from the best player ever in the history, not to mention and most beautiful to watch.
funny how Ibra applauded him everytime and finally Messi shows great team gesture and unselfishness by giving the penalty that he got to Ibra so he regains some confidence and starts scoring.
