I will surely follow Madrid's games more closely next season but don't be surprised if they go another year without a trophy, at least the first season because of all the new recruits.

he did close to nothing in the euros. being top scorer in the team that was won like 4449887776423635 straight french league titles is not that impressive. any just above average forward could become big in Lyon.

benzema is not even close to being overrated, the kid is only 20-21 years old, has speed, technique and an eye for goal...his decreased production last year, had a lot to do with his disinterest in playing in the French League for another season, even though he was being heavily pursued by big clubs last summer....benzema will show his worth very soon on the big stage in Madrid, and I say this as someone who is no fan of Real (I only root for Osasuna in the Liga). This kid reminds me of a younger version of Fernando Torres, but with slightly less speed, albeit a much stronger physique.

Agree, last season was very disappointing for Benzema, he was the 5th best scorer of Ligue1 and don't forget that Ligue1 is not as competitive as EPL,Laligua and serieA.
