^^ They're too far behind to still be in for a chance.

This is a game for Arsenal to win, Liverpool are more solid and can pounce on any mistake Arsenal makes but this is a game for Arsenal to prove they can win the title.

Wenger: No 'Special' Arsenal Signing On Horizon

The Emirates manager has issued a statement that is sure to rile Arsenal fans; he is yet to find anyone 'special' to sign during the January transfer window."But at the moment I am more focused on getting this team to where I feel it can be and prove to people that this team deserves confidence and belief in them because I highly believe that without buying, we can do it."

He continued: "That's what I want to show until the first of January and start to convince people that not necessarily in the transfer market will we get back in the race. It is with our quality, our belief, our commitment."

    Flaws

The north London side are deemed to be weak in the middle of the park and in defence. Cesc Fabregas has not hit his stride like he did last season, partly because he's playing a deeper role to accommodate Denilson, while at the back Johan Djourou has had to come in to partner troubled William Gallas due to a lack of height amongst the back four.

British tabloid The Sun today linked the Gunners with a move for Boulogne defender Steven Mouyokol, while The Telegraph claim that Wenger has identified Juventus star Giorgio Chiellini as the most viable solution.

wenger said he is 95% in the team. Toure will be missing 95% chance according to wenger but we have djourou to cover, hopefully wenger doesnt pick silvestre.

^^ 1st of all Man Utd have 2 games in hand (not 1), coz we don't play this week due to Club World Cup and second of all, Man Utd will stay ahead of Arsenal don't you worry lol. Just wait till next year, we will vs Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal all at home And there is no way Arsenal will win the league coz they're loosing to lower ranked sides like Hull, Stoke and Fulham (despite Fulham having the 2nd best home record)

aston are great but not that good, and with the return of Eduardo and Rosicky to come in 2009, Arsenal will be one hell of a team.

AND oh btw Arsenal is behind Man Utd by 2 points (5 points if you say so because they haven't played fulham but you never know, might draw/lose) either way 5 points is very close...and Arsenal is 8 points off leaders liverpool.

this shows how close epl is this season and a LONNNG way to go and anything can happen including Arsenal on top of Man Utd

Nasri is a 95% certainty to play and he demolished Manchester.

well that's very common in top teams.
United themselves have been saved many times by ronaldo, Barca by messi and Real Madrid by cassilas.
Gerrard is a class act, I see him as the number1 reason why Liverpool came back from 3-0 against Milan.
