Wow man two killer fights and looks like I"m 1/2 in my predictions. Chuck Liddel needed that win big time he was in such a major slump. As for GSP I kind of expected him to take care of Matt Hughes.

Damn that fight broke my heart. I wanted Silva to win so bad! The thing with all the fighters that come from Pride (silva, shogun, crocop) is that they are used to the ring and not the cage.

I promise if this fight was in a ring and Lidell couldnt back away in the first round, Silva would have killed him.

im not that big on this stuff so honestly, it was kinda dull
liddel won by decision and the rest of the fights were tapouts, ehhh,that's ok, but u prefer to see a knockout,u kno?
was it me, or did silva seem winded so much quicker than liddel? my friends were like "nahhhh man, he got punched in the nose" but wtf does getting punched in the nose hav to do w/ runnin out of gas? or do i just not know cuz i've never been punched in the nose?

Getting punched in the nose does wind you... no doubt...and not only that...Silva was getting bombs thrown at him...the reason he didnt completely gas was because of his cardio training (silvas cardio/training is second to none)...I have a lot of respect for silva though, he could have taken it to the ground and worked some of his black belt BJJ...but he did what he promised to the fans and tried to deliver a knockout. Liddell tried to play the clock at the end...

Great event. Chuck is back although I think that Silva needed more time to adjust to UFC. GSP is one of the best fighters alive, pound for pound, what a technical fighter he is. Manny is back, a short and quick finish, I think he broke the guys legs...go Armenia.

A fighter I really like is Luke Cummo...the dynamite geek AKA Silent Assassin, looking forward to his next fight in march!

I hope it will be GSP over Hughes because I personally think GSP is a humble dude unilke Hughes. Plus GSP is overall a better fighter so there you have it.

As for the Silva I think he is going to take Liddel down. The Ice Man has not been the same since the Rampage Jackson loss. It just seems like he lost his confidence and ora of invincibility. Now people are no longer afraid of him and it shows.
