I think because he hasn't got that much options to choose from, He will probably leave the matter to IFF.
Besides, what Taremi & co have done is more damage to TM as a whole than to Skocic. In fact Taremi has saved Skocic's face. In this game, Taremi the idiot, has lost 5-0 to Skocic.
Skocic WILL invite Taremi and Jahanbaksh and start both of them in all the three games. Because the onus is on those two players to get good results. Unless of course they get themselves injured so that they don't get invited or play. In any case I would say, Taremi & co have shot TM in the back. And we are finished before we start.
    you have short memory
skocic did not invite taremi for lebnon and syria game
due to ther beef back then.

what mehdi and other few players did to skocic was not

    2) Skocic is removed as coach after the election. There is a risk there is vatani coach, but there is also a chance CQ is invited back. Whatever coach returns, the team will have a fresh start and no one will be removed from the squad. This makes our chances at success better.
Somewhere in the range of 0-4 points.

Is the logic flawed here or am I correct in thinking that him being sacked is the best case scenario for TM and our success at the WC?
How about if Skocic stays and invites Taremi & co? Did that option cross your mind?

B- Half of TM?!! Care to disclose how you came with that estimate?! In any case, most of the players annoyance, as articulated by many of them has to do with the incompetence of IFF, lack of friendlies, not getting paid what they were promised, lack of facilities and support, etc. A lot of discontent in the fans and the players is being fanned by those in Iran and its media who are to benefit from the discontent.
C- Most fans? Again, any evidence beyond this board? From what I gather from the fans in Iran, most are ticked happy that TM made an easy path to the WC. But I do not have a scientific poll and neither does anyone else. Furthermore, picking the TM coach is not a democratic process.
At the end of the day, here are the facts:
1- In the darkest hours of TM following Wilmots dismissal, no one, I repeat no one (including that arrogant as Fok Neku) stepped up. Skoc did. And he delivered. He delivered beyond the wildest imagination of anyone, including myself and just about everyone here.
2- As soon as qualification was becoming certain, all sorts of experts popped up to explain to us mortals that the results do not matter. Even though they were and still are the best in Iran's history. No......They explained that the other teams were bad... The very teams that had beat Iran a year earlier!! No Skoc was lucky! No this is the best Iran team ever!! No the moon was just right. Anything but to acknowledge the fact that under his leadership, TM was rescued and delivered to WC. PERIOD!
3- We all know that if he was fired (or if he will be fired) it will be a disaster. All the hyenas will want a piece of the WC action (read money). Each will want to either become the coach, or dictate who should be the coach. WE ALL KNOW THAT!!
We all want what's best for TM. But WE ALL KNOW what's waiting if he gets fired. We end up with clueless Iranian coaches who were too chicken to take the helm when it mattered. As much as I loved CQ and what he did, I would be surprised and disappointed if he takes the job. He has nothing to gain and everything to lose. And will have to file another law suit to get whatever it is they will promise him. I do not think he is THAT STUPID.
Once again, I suggest everyone to switch their focus to asking IFF to do its job, set up friendlies, camps, logistics, etc, etc. Berating the guy who has delivered more than anyone ever expected is not really a good look!!

I dont' disagree with most of what you said. And I'm a big fan of yours on this forum.

As I have said numerous times, I have no beef with Skocic as a person. He seems kind, and caring to our players. He deserves credit for qualifying us (which I give him at every instance), and he should be commended for that.

But the ship is headed toward an iceberg, and the captain is MIA or asleep at the wheel.

There is no formal TM player poll, or TM fan poll, so we don't have any evidence/data either way to back this up. But the general feeling I'm getting from the players' posts, and the fan posts (here and on Twitter), is that all is not right with Mr. Skocic being at the helm.

I fully agree that the alternative could be worse (I don't have a crystal ball). But at this point, the prospect of coming away with 0 points at the WC can't get must worse.

And how does that help TM?!! Leaving the team coach-less will only invite the hyaenas, each trying to get a piece of the TM carcass.

He may or may not get fired. But he has a contract. It is in his own interest and the interest of TM for him to honor it. If he gets fired, its on IFF, not him.

He has done NOTHING wrong and everything right. Let the vultures and hyaenas salivate over what they could do, if they get rid of him.

The campaign to get rid of him, reminds me a lot of the campaign to vilify Iran at every turn; A lot of innuendos, rumors, falsehoods, half-truths, rumor-mongering, eco-chamber repeating of bs, double-standards...... But not a lot of rational discourse about what he has done and who is at fault here.

I hope, for the good of TM, that he stays and that he forces the hyaenas come out of the shadows. He should not make it easy for them.

skokic aka armani bademjon knows he is on death row..35 days left to elections that will probably end his time as tm coach. he isnt wanted by many, some players openly critisize him, bod want him fired. majedi may have askked him to resign but dont want to fire him before elecftions. they have talked to others, Daei even talked about it openly, aboout that it was the wrong time for it, so he had been contacted for sure, and gol bezan wrote cq is contacted by someone inside iff..

yet the ma clings to the job, anything honorable would be resignation. specialy when it daily leaks more critique from everytwhere against you. from players, to staff.. he is hurting tm now buy stayingn. vel kon dige boro agha joon khodet moduni qatar camp riidi, va balad nisti campe dorost hesabi bezari, will be another shitcamp in austria to be expected.. btw thats not finalized either so we
might hold the camp in the same qatari hotel again..

    atleast,on the positive side:
players have good knowladge about nightly open hambergeris and might get extra food from the restaurant for their many orders.
and they can order a few "cheezbergers" to the bus afterwards. and the cheezbergers know how to go around security etc now so it will go smoothly
