Unfortunately, the situation is so bad that someone has to speak up. Otherwise, all we can do is cross our fingers and hope we at least only lose by 2 goals per match maximum.

We've always had a Completely incompetent federation BUT AT LEAST we had a great coach like cq who made up for it slightly with great tactics that suit our limitations (poor infrastructure, zero organization from iff, lack of good friendlies =inability to control possession and play open offensive football).

He also did much more than what his job description entailed and spoke out against the lack of support.

Problem now is.... All those limitations exist or have gotten worse AND OUR COACH IS ALSO VERY WEAK TACTICALLY AND HAS ZERO VOICE AND JUST KEEPS HIS MOUTH SHUT THROUGH ALL THE CHAOS.

You see, when the plane is going down and taking everyone with it, the passengers are gonna be worried and start saying something before they get demolished when this plane crashes & explodes at the world cup.

Unfortunately the technical committee woke up a little too late IMO.
They should have pressured IFF to fire Skocic in November last year.

Will the ever so incompetent IFF for once do something right and fire Skocic?
Deciding meeting tomorrow, hopefully the verdict is in TM favor and Skocic is sacked.

IRI Circus is extremely painful and torturous to watch, with four months left to the World Cup, the mismanagement and poor decisions is frustrating all the Team Melli fans. So it seems Skocic is not sacked. However if he does get sacked prior to the World Cup. I really hope that Nekounam is not selected as coach for two reasons 1) he is inexperienced 2) his attitude which might further divide the squad rather than bring unity. If he becomes coach, the only strategy will be to implement the "Park the Bus" which as a player he learned how to do well under Carlos Queiroz in the matches versus Nigeria and Argentina
Carlos Queiroz is surely the best option. However for vatani coach, I would be happy with any of the following: Ali Daei, Amir Ghalenoei, Yahya Golmohammadi, Afshin Ghotbi none of them will be able to ensure Team Melli will get out of the Group Stage, however results won't be humiliating under them.
Skocic as Head Coach makes me extremely worried. He has proven that his strategy works very well versus Arab teams from West Asia, however against South Korea and Algeria failed. Under him, results versus England and USA will be defeats with huge margin and against Wales a narrow loss.
Under Vatani coaches results might be narrow losses and possibly a draw against either USA or Wales.

I am a strong Foolad fan and check their news frequently. Nekounam is staying put where he is... The plan for now is to work on the elimination stages of the Asian Champions League. After that he likes to coach in Spain.

No way he could just wals in to the bus. First, he had to get the bus key, so atleast mr bus-driver was probably in it. And who can blaim him, might as well get some football hot model grouies, not all busdrivers that gets that oppertunity. Both are politically out of it with IR. Daei has been essentially blacklisted while Ghaleneoi went on a rant against IR on TV last year.
I think it's between Javad and CQ. Javad will realize he cannot stamp his authority with so little time, with the obvious choice being CQ.

It’s not his tournament. What makes you think he’s entitled to coach TM at a WC? He has zero trust in the locker room and he’s out of his depth. If we go with Skocic in the WC, be ready for a rude awakening. It’s going to end ugly.

He is not entitled to... rather, he's earned the opportunity.
