Good he is slowly working his way into xi for these big games. Hajduk, dinamo are strong teams and for his super young age he has already been through a lot. First in Charleroi mazzu liked him so much he started him 4 days after he arrived from ss khuzestan. Then belhocine rated him highly too but he had super bad injury problems, never regained place so they opted to loan him, again more bad injuries. But they saw enough talent to extend the loan.

Hope he keeps going in Europe, he already sacrificed a lot to drop it and return to pgpl

    Younes Delfi

    ADVANTAGES FROM THE SHADOW

THE FOREIGNER FROM WHOM THE 'HNL EXPLOSION' IS EXPECTED WILL FINALLY PLAY: HE WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST TALENTS...

In a country of 84 million people, he was a great talent, he shone in young national teams...

After Gorica was shockingly defeated by Rijeka 3: 4, it was necessary to find the strength and knowledge to recover and in the next game to score three points on a not at all simple away game in Šibenik. The team of coach Krunoslav Rendulić managed to celebrate this with the result 2: 1, and calmly entered the two-week break, which ends on Saturday, when Istra 1961 will play in Turopolje from 3 pm.

Rendulić will have a much wider staff at his disposal than against Rijeka and Šibenik, when his injuries and cards decimated the team. Suffice it to say that he did not have almost the entire defense against Rijeka, while in Šibenik there was no best player Kristijan Lovrić due to a booking and several injured.

Those two games brought out young midfielder Toni Fruk , who is on loan from Italian Fiorentina. He scored three goals, two of which were masterpieces, and it is a pity that the goal for 3: 3 against Rijeka was not enough for a point.
    - Fruk is doing great in training and I am waiting for him to show it on the field - said coach Rendulić two months ago when he was given the opportunity in the starting lineup for the first time. Rendulić claims the same for Martin Šroller, who was the starter at the beginning of the season, but did not copy the editions from the training to the matches. It would be important for him, like Fruk, to explode when he gets his first next chance in the starting lineup or when he enters from the bench.

    Three attackers in focus

Iranian Younes Delfi is also a very interesting player . He arrived from Belgian Charleroi last season, but was injured for months. Now he is finally completely ready and giving signs of good form. He could not play in Šibenik due to a card, but during the break he dominated the game and training. Before that, he was very good against Rijeka until the exclusion. Rendulić sees him as a potential solution on the right wing, has 21-year-old Delphi and penetration and realization when he gets the chance, and it should be reminded that the Iranians saw him as one of the greatest talents, when he shone in the younger representative ages of that Asian country.

The focus should also be on the three strikers, who were brought in this summer and are not at the expected level so far. Fran Brodić came first and was among the best in the preparations, only to quickly fall into the background in the championship and lose his place as a starter. He came back to life in Osijek when he came in from the bench and scored a goal, but then he stayed on the bench with Rijeka and Šibenik.

Macedonian Vlatko Stojanovski and Nigerian Benito joined the team at the latest, only at the end of August, and have not yet imposed themselves. Stojanovski got more minutes, but without a concrete effect, while Benito got only 16 minutes in two entries from the bench. If they could offer more later in the season, it would be very important because Senegalese Matar Dieye will not be able to pull everything off on their own in the rush position.

Finally, we should mention the young stopper Saša Marjanović, who scored the first senior goal for Gorica in the match with Rijeka. Before that, he also played against Dinamo on Maksimir. In the competition of Jovičić, Krizmanić and Steenvoorden, it is not easy to get a chance to perform, but Marjanović showed that he can replace them well and grow into a standard first team player in the future...

Based on the highlights he could have had an assist or two. Looked speedy, technical and aggressive.
Have no idea why he was last man back on that red card.

He did look very sharp. Physically hes improved a lot and hes very good at beating his man 1v1.

Straight red was harsh, but I guess not out of line with the law as it was a clear goalscoring chance. He did not initiate the trip, guys trailing leg caught him.

Think he will get a lot more game time this season, hopefully he makes the most of it bc he has a lot of talent

Nearly had an assist @ 2:52. Shame about the red card, looked very promising from highlights.
