Wilmots OUT NOW

Fun fact: Wilmots already lost 2 competitive games in his first 6 months of being TM manager, while CQ lost 3 grand total games against Asian sides (Lebanon, Uzbekistan & Japan) in 8 years!

We should fire Wilmots right now, and bring in Felix Magath. Felix Magath is a hard dog, he will make the team run and run and run and fight...He was the coach of hashemian and Karimi, and with Hashemian he can work and understand the language and more.
To qualify for the next round, we need to win all our 4 matches, whatever happens. probably we can finish so, or at leat one of the best four second places (with 18 points and minimum plus 18,19 or more goals.
1) Fire Wilmots.
2) Bring in a good coach OR Felix Magath
3) Use the 5 months till the next match by making sure the new coach works three weeks or more in the winter break with the team. No holidays for players, make sure they will go to a camp and train and play some friendlies with some clubs, in turkey or whereever they stay...it will be winter break.
4) win all 4 remaining matches and hope to qualify with 18 points.

It's not reactionary. Wilmots is a horrible coach with a poor track record. If he stays then we are doomedOriginally posted by onebloodfool View PostLets not become like the reactionary arabs and fire a coach because of couple of consecutive losses. The WCQ is not in the toilet...not yet.

should we wait until we are guaranteed out of WC to fire him? What coach will want to come to iran then...the one thing we can offer a coach from a professional and CV standpoint is the chance of coaching a solid team in WC and providing an upset. Who will want to coach us if we dont have a meaningful fixture until AC 2023???Originally posted by onebloodfool View PostLets not become like the reactionary arabs and fire a coach because of couple of consecutive losses. The problem is, that we have a Coach who made an horrible line-up, no game plan and was not able to anticipate that Masoud is not mature enough to avoid red cards.Originally posted by onebloodfool View PostLets not become like the reactionary arabs and fire a coach because of couple of consecutive losses. I mean seriously, how on earth can Wilmots ignore players like Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Gholizadeh, Kaveh Rezai for such an crucial game and start 35 years old Masoud who hadn't a good game since 2011 or something (he was never a constantly good player at all)?
Obviosly the future will be very dark with Wilmots in charge.

Absolutely shameless.Originally posted by Keano View PostAnd then the football expert Hassan Roshan has the audacity to make a ridiculous claim saying TM is now paying for CQ's poor coaching and management. Furthermore he claims that CQ did nothing to develop TM and youth football, and now we have to start from scratch doing it all. How ignorant one can be to make such biased statements?

I remember that one, close to the beginning of AC 2015 we won 1-0, goal from Azmoun. Still it was just a friendly and Iraq were able to defeat us too in an in-official friendly right after the AC 2015.Originally posted by Camran khan View PostWe beat them in 2015 in a friendly prior the the AC.

In Belgium Wilmots is considered as the poorest manager in decades.
The absence of tactics is what he is blamed for the most.
Shame..

We beat them in 2015 in a friendly prior the the AC.Originally posted by Philosophy_King View PostSpecially to those animals who start booing Irans Hymn. It hurts that our last victory against Iraq was 2011 (where we got lucky with mobalis goal). I think the problem with facing Iraq in general is, that they know our football culture and style very well since they have/had many players in the IPL; they are stylistically bad match up for us.

Honestly why people want TM to qualify for the world cup? You all say we don't have the necessary talent to do something there (we even struggle against the like of iraq since ages).
We dont have exciting perspectives with our current u23, u20, u17 team. Our successful u17 team from 2 years ago, shekari plus two descent wc2014/2018 didnt provide us the expected team
What we will do is to pray for miracle in order to not being ridiculous and watch/hear the world pissing on us with political BS, sanctions boycott, the level of our random players.
In every field, Iran is not being considered as part of the world, even when we somehow do some good thing.
