Now who says we drop under Australia?!! Don't worry guys. Australia lost heavily against Norway (4-1) a few weeks ago. A very unpredictable and shaky team. It can lose with big margin against Hungary next weekend. But it might be late. Have you guys checked to see that we really lost our a decade rein over Asia right when it mattered ?!!!

Update: Yes I checked unfortunately , it is true. We had 728 points, playing a weak team from Asia and losing to a lower ranked team deducted 20 points from us while Australia currently at 700 (much lower points than us) played smart and played a UEFA team on an away match. Only one match. They did not play two games! That prevented them from a possible drop. They will gain 18 and will have 718 points. All of a sudden from a 28 points difference will have 10 over us ... Unreal .. A big drop and they definitely will go to the world cup as number 1 ranked team in Asia. I do not know if they will have a FIFA Ranking on July 7?!!! I doubt it... Are they going to change the profile on FIFA introducing Iran as no 1 Asian team??!!!

I know France will trash them and they will lose to Hungary next week but damn, the Ranking will be announced before that

He is really putting all efforts and concentration on beating Morocco. Thats how I interpret it. Against Portugal and Spain we will go back to our “usual” system.
Morocco is particularly dangerous, since they play very defensively and on counters and have a very strong defense too without conceeding for a very long time on their continent, just like us!
Basically the game vs Morocco is our WC’s most important game.

I'm tired of hearing the FIFA ranking doesn't mean anything or etc.... IT FKING CLEARLY DOES on so many fronts in terms of ranking for future tourneys or a whole host of other benefits that comes along with being Ranked Numero Uno..!!

mind you, each TM Loss also has Huge Psychological Negative Effects on our players ....! each loss (Friendly or not) Dampens our players Confidence and Winning mentality and vigor.!! with the tough group we are facing at WC that further dissipates our players belief and confidence in attaining Favorable result at WC..!!

No it doesn't. If anything, it makes them strive to improve where their weaknesses are. This is a team of professional footballers, not a high school varsity soccer team. Pretty sure they know the purpose of friendlies after being in professional football for so long.

Also, we will be back on top of the rankings after the World Cup so we will be ok for future tournament seedings.

Fifa rankings really don't matter for us until 3-4 years from now when they draw the groups for Qatar 2022. Plus we're ranked first in Asia, and we still got shafted with our group. So at the end of the day it doesn't matter at all.
