How do you guys explain this? According to IRIB side by side pictures Sepahan players are celebrating before the final whistle is blown in Tabriz. If all communication is cut from Tabriz how do Sepahan players know about the result of a match that is clearly being broadcast on a delay?
None of this makes any sense. There is clearly some major shenanigans happening here. Anyone denying it is burying head in the sand.

Check out the footballitarin highlights.
At 7:04 it shows Edinho on the sidelines waiting anxiously for the final whistle, ready to run onto the pitch and celebrate.
I am not sure who/how/why/ or at what point they were told it was 2-2 in Esfahan.... but its clear they thought they won the league.

I remember he was praising Lak for not wasting time and that this is what fair play is called.Originally posted by Bi-honar View PostThe funniest thing to me was when Tractor was still up 3-2 and Lak was actually rushing the play! You're one man down, one goal up with just a few minutes to go. Why the hell would you be rushing the play, rather than slowing it down and wasting as much time as possible. Then, when they were tied, with even less time on the clock, he started to waste time!!!
Also let's imagine Tractor and Toni knew that Sepahan had won their game, you think they were capable of scoring another one? I highly doubt it. They couldn't even manage to control the game, what makes you think they could have won the game?
Iran was with 10 men and they managed to tie the game twice and Tractor wasn't capable of defending well for 20 minutes. No one is to blame but Toni and their management.

And Sepah owns (most shares) of ITMCO according to wikiOriginally posted by Bi-honar View PostWell, according to Wiki, Tractor is owned by ITM which is a public company - not that IRGC don't have their hands in everything in Iran, but if it is a public company, I'm sure they'd still be more concerned about security than the value of their shares!

این شرکت متعلق به سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی و شرکت سرمایه*گذاری مهر اقتصاد ایرانیان است
This whole thing is just ridiculous...
I have 3 questions:
1) If Tiraxtur fans were told that Sepahan had drawn the game, then why were they throwing chairs from minute 78, when they 'would win the league' with a draw??
2) If all communication was cut, then why was that player on the phone clearly speaking with someone in the 95th minute??
3) If the Tiraxtur players were told they would only need a draw, then why does Edinho lie down on the floor hitting the ground with his hands as a sign of sadness after he was subbed (minute 94)??

What ever happened here, which is really difficult to comprehend that it could happen in the first place, it only favored Sephan and the biggest loser was really Naft cause they were the ones who were attacking and pressing for a win with one extra player compared to Tractor.

Here's the bottom line mates . Tractor played shitty defense and lak sucks. Tractor needs a good keeper and better defenders . You should play to win regardless of any reports, playing for a tie because your keeper sucks and saying you were tricked is bullshit , in the United States why stadium with over 20k people the cell signals don't work. I do feel bad for tractor players and fans but there is no conspiracy here . Ando scored a goal and assisted so there's no way he's part of it .

At any rate, no one said Sepah wanted Tractor to lose, nor did they lose. Tractor players and technical cadre screwed up all their own. So, the conspiracy wasn't that Tractor should not win the league, it was that in the event they do no win the title, there is some sort of crowd control in place.
As I said in the earlier post, those last 4 or 5 minutes would have not made any difference to Tractor, because if they were going to score (rather than be scored on), they already had 30 minutes to do so.

You don't follow any other sports? This is a tradition! You always boo the opposing teams stars, even if that player was your captain the year before? In hockey, we have had star players who played 5 years in one team, and lead them to so much glory get booed the next year for signing or being traded to another team. Happens in baseball, hockey, basketball...I think the only sport it doesn't happen in is golf and tennis lolOriginally posted by Keano View PostWe honestly have the most disrespectful and disgusting football fans by far. Loyalty and respect means nothing in today's Iran!

Bs...are Tractor fans are more likely to get rowdy and violent due to a loss or a win? If Tractor wins and Esfahan loses that is probably the safer scenario as there was only something like 14,000 fans at the stadium in Esfahan and it would take them longer to congregate than in Tabriz where 80,000 fans were waiting to explode.Originally posted by persian-eagle-13 View Postwell there is lot of news about how sepah was behind this to keep tabriz from exploding in case tractor wins the league
Here is the screenshot...pretty obvious if you watch the 3 seconds of him that he is talking on his cellphone. So now what is the next excuse?Originally posted by Shah Abbas View PostI have proof for why that is false.
Pause at 2:12:53 Tiraxtur player speaking on his cell phone!

I have proof for why that is false.Originally posted by PersianLegionThese are the BS coming from third hand. The most reliable news was at min 87 all communication were cut off and both matches were playing at the same time, 20 min is just ridiculous lies.

Against a backdrop of the violent redrawing of the map of the Middle East as minorities assert their rights, rebels challenge the existing order, and militant Islamists seek to carve up the post-colonial order, Iranian soccer pitches are signalling that the Islamic republic is not totally immune to the region's upheaval.
"The website said Traktor Sazi had been playing defensive in the last 20 minutes of the match because the team's coach Tony Oliviera had been informed by the Islamic Republic of Iran's Football Federation (IRIFF) that the results of parallel matches meant that the Tabriz club would only need a draw to win the championship. "We were tricked," Mr. Oliveira told the official IRNA news agency."
