I highly doubt this is even possible. iran cant present a legitimate reason to UEFA to join them unlike Israel, turkey or kazakhstan/azerbaijan. We are not situated in Europe, we are not boycotted by other AFC countries and politically or economically or football strength wise, we are not attractive to UEFA. just simply going to UEFA and saying, "refs and AFC are against us" is not a presentable argument

In other words, we basically can't do anything.

I'd definitely go for it... I said that in 2004... Iran will never get fair treatment in the AFC. As for the Israel issue, think of Iran-USA 1998.

I say start the paperwork and go through the checklist. Let's see what happens. I think Iran has a good case... consult with a lawyer.

unfortunately we are in a region in asia who is weak either in economy and political power in AFC (tajikistan, krgyzstan, afghanistan, uzbekistan) or is weak in football (india) or they are not part of afc (turkey, russia, kazakhstan)

Do you want CAFF to be a complete separate confederation? It would be too small unless we include some more countries, maybe countries in South Asia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia? Its unrealistic to be honest. We can't do much, we are like permanently stuck in Asia and the Middle East.

We are geographically stuck in Asia and in the Middle East. What can we do? I wish we could join UEFA but we don't have a good argument like Israel or Australia and neither do we have really good relations with European countries, who will fight to refuse us.

Probably in large part due to AFC wanting them in in addition to them complaining about the level of play (or lack thereof) in their own continent as evidenced by Australia winning any competition Oceania offered.

I see one little problem with that. UEFA isn't exactly throwing themselves at us to have us join their tiny organization.
