As I recall Asia and Europe are connected, we are not separate continents. We were once called Eurasia, but as countries started to develop more Europe decided to be independent and leave Asia behind. Just like Iran has ties to the Aryan people.

That's a discussion you could have used when continental federations were formed decades ago. We have already made our choice and our now stuck with it.

We don't know that for certain because uncertainty always is all around us. Just like we can't say in 1979 we threw out the Shah and brought Khomeini instead to rule, because that is incorrect, we wanted independence not another tyrant.

we have money and if the IR could manage the country we could have even more to pay anyone to get into UEFA. but will it really match with or culture and is this really going to benefit our football?? which is a big question. But the thought to never play Arabs again is just making this dream sweeter and sweeter the more you think about it.

That's still no excuse of saying that we are in a different geographical location, when our own neighbors are part of that group. So based on your Soviet Union plan, I can also say that the Persian Empire had control in some if not all of these countries, so we technically can be part of UEFA

To be honest with you I have no idea why countries like Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are part of UEFA. On other threads I have suggested these countries joining AFC as they have no realistic chance of qualifying for the World Cup or Euro and it would be easier for them to join AFC and more realistic, but they are bordering Europe kind of but I don't really know. Turkey and Russia are both in Europe and Asia, so they had a choice and they went with UEFA. Its just not possible for Iran to be apart of UEFA, we have no good arguments and plus non of those European countries would want us even.
