K boys and girls, preseason is about to start (which I hardly ever watch). Already can't wait for the eastern conf. final matchup between the defected queen and the big baby (and the newly signed bigger baby).

Everytime TV shows the 3 amigos walking on the catwalk in the middle of the smoke and slap people hands, I can't help but to get embarassed ......for them. Can you even imagine Kobe or MJ do something stupid like that!?

Kevin Durant is the real thing and I hope the lakers get him in a few years when kobe is done with his prime years.

OKC is the only team I am scared of in the west but I don't think they can beat laker's experience, depth and kobe in a 7 game series.

I don't see any problems for the lakers as far as reaching the NBA final is concerned but should they get there they need everyone healthy (hear me drew!????? ) Kobe is getting old and by the time they get to the finals he will be beat. As for the final, The only thing I am scared of is the 2-3-2 format which means the lakers cant just not care about their record during regular season. There is no way the lakers woulda won game 7 if that game was in Boston

Everyone is counting out the Rockets in the West, but they have one of the deepest benches in the league and have a young team that could surprise quite a few people this year. I'd say they have an outside chance at the 7th or 8th seed if they can stay relatively healthy.

cant wait! definitely looking forward to a few things

-the Washington Wizards, they were highly touted before last season but failed to make an impact (other than in the press) but they should be exciting

-my team the Raptors 31 win season

-the Heat but particularly to see teams beat them since their expectations are ridiculous (the team to beat)

-Bostons frontcourt, maybe a surprise Pacers team, a healthy Paul, Tyreke Evans sophomore season, T-Mac maybe finding a groove, so many things..preseason should be fun

im good as long as celtics and heat dont win it, of course i want lakers to take it all and most likely they will if everyone stays healthy...if one of these guys (gasol, kobe, bynum) isnt u can forget about it


i dont think OKC has enough players to win it all, best they'll get is 2nd round playoff i think


phoenix is also looking strong with turkoglu but then again they always have a great team but never do shit, same with dallas

Yao was only out for last year because of an injury he suffered during Round 2 of the Playoffs against the Lakers two years ago. They say he isn't 100% back in form yet, but should be ready for the year. They're going to take it slow with him during the preseason, and I think they're going to limit his minutes during the regular season.

hopefully the celtics will win it all this year after our disappointing loss last season. i really doubt were gonna do much, but i didnt expect them to go to game 7 last year either
