60% is too much. I would say 57% max.

In case you have not followed the PGL all year:

            - PP not only finished 8th in the league
            - also went through three different coaches this season and was just three points above relegation at one point.
            - was drawn into the hardest group in the ACL with zero expectations (rightfully so).
            - managed to make it out of their group and exceed expectations tremendously.

Extremely ignorant to compare such a team to the reigning runner ups of the ACL and KSA league to a struggling Persepolis.

The only thing you got right in your post is that you are an IPL basher.....that was made pretty evident in the later part of your post.
Lol, you think Dortmund would do this badly against a team that got 3rd in a league that's supposed to be lower than theirs? You all make it seem like IPL is the bee's knees and then backtrack and say how low rent the PARTICULAR IPL team that loses is every year. The last good IPL team in Asia was Zob Ahan honestly. You sound like a typical IPL sympathizer with your cookie cutter responses. You have said nothing different from Camran and I bet you think you sound like a Harvard PHD lol. You couldn't be farther with your low brow logic.

FYI lol at the people who liked this post. The 3 people I've disagreed with who love IPL all day and suck on the balls of every IPL player like Khosrow Heydari who should be shining shoes these days.

Whatever you say KC McElroy. You should come up with your own schtick man. Your doing what KC was doing 5 years ago. It was funny when he did it, you're a poser to be honest. Can't come up with your own humor.

                          Movin' on...

Gamba Osaka beat F.C. Seoul 3-2 to become the 5th team to reach the quarter-finals and the 1st team to do so by winning both of their round of 16 matches.

As I said earlier in the thread, this marks the 1st time since 2009 that Japan have had two representatives in the quarterfinals of the ACL.

IPL & CSL are the only two leagues of the top 8 Asian leagues to still secure a spot in the final 8 (with the AFL having already bowed out). The composition of teams in the final 8 is going to be:

                          Japan 2
                          Saudi Arabia 1 (+1)
                          Korea 1 (+1)
                          Qatar 1
                          UAE 1
                          Iran (+1)
                          China (+1)
                          Australia 0

Guangzhou is leading Seongnam 1-0 at home at half-time. Should that result stay, Guangzhou will advance (first leg ended 2-1 for Seongnam).

Goulart (BRZ) scored the goal for Guangzhou which makes him ACL's top-scorer with 7 goals.

Guangzhou defeat Seongnam 2-0 at home to become the 6th team to reach the quarter-finals - this is their fourth consecutive quarterfinals' appearance!!!

This makes them the most consistent Asian team at the moment. Al-Hilal are also making consecutive quarter-final appearances and Al-Ain have a chance to match that feat later today (they need a win at home after a 0-0 draw away).

Composition of teams in last year's quarterfinals from the top 8 Asian leagues was (this year's expected appearance in brackets):

                              Saudi Arabia 2 (1)
                              Korea 2 (1)
                              Qatar 1 (1)
                              UAE 1 (1)
                              China 1 (1)
                              Australia 1 (0)
                              Iran 0 (1)
                              Japan 0 (2)
