So if you want to talk starters: javadkia, houshmand, a new RB for sure (probably a new LB too), hosseinzadeh, allahyar, Delfi. That is like half the starting xi. Would make a big difference

We all know Delfi and Allahyar won't most likely make it. Like the previous tournaments with our legionnaires so lets not include them.
Javidkia is warming the bench in Padideh so don't get why he wasn't released. Also Rahmati is no more coach this season.

This was a very important win. It was a hard fought victory with energetic Tajik fans in the stadium, crappy artificial field, relatively biased ref and the team came back from behind and hold the game while under the barrage of attacks.This is a valuable positive experience that will stay with all the players throughout their careers. This kind of experience shapes future stars. Salmani showed that he is our most promising future star perhaps with the potential to surpass likes of Nekounam, Bagheri and Ali Parvin in the CM position. The challenge will be that Salmani probably is already being scouted in Europe and will not be with Sepahan next August meaning that like Allahyar and Delfi may not be released. Hopefully, Mahdavikia is already preparing for that possibility. Salmani should be encouraged to put a release clause for U23 championship and 2024 Olympic qualifiers in his contract if he goes to Europe next year.

yasin playstyle reminds of young De Bruyne lol. Similar physical profile (yasin taller), comfortable with both feet, similar shooting, crossing technique and many goals from midfield line. Also very quick acceleration with and without ball, something guy like shekari really lacked.

Or Saeid at some extend. But he can some how live with that because he is pure DM but for box to box mid, speed is the key.
That is why someone like Masoud despite the huge talent never could have shined at higher level for longer period.

yeah. For midfielders some sort of explosiveness, acceleration with and without ball is very important.

As you mention saeid is defensive shield, specialist (like matic or something) he can get away with it, but if he can improve more in that category he would be perfect. For attacking or central midfielders it is very necessary though.

In modern game 10 is dead. Attacking midfielders need to play the 8, cover good ground, and be able to shuttle back and forth. With the ball they need to have some real drive and ability to beat guys and get into goalscoring positions. Yasin has that speed for sure.

Think how guys like ozil, James, etc all faded away in recent years without even being that old. That is the danger of orthodox 10s, even ghoddos to some extent suffers from this but he is actually quite good in tackles, pressing when he is fully fit.
