3.5-3.7 mil/yr (EU). This has been confirmed by multiple russian outlets.

Zenit are out of action for 2 weeks. A much needed break. I think Semak let them all go home/on break for a week. For no break they actually started season really well but physicality of dynamo match took a lot out of them, left a key player injured.

They need to have some sort of rest and charge up before going again.

Even alot of superstars in top EPL and La Liga teams don't get such treatment.
Why should he leave? He plays for the championship, CL and topscorer title their
Azmoun should stay at least this season and show himself in CL and after that, hopefully Bundesliga it is

Doesn't make sense for him to leave. Finished top scorer, right now he can probably get an offer to a top 6 team in England, Italy, and Germany, but nowhere near a guaranteed starter, he'd be coming in as some sort of prospect. If he performs like he did last season, then he'll have a good chance of getting a more guaranteed starting position at a team that plays regular CL football.

big news coming out of spain. Zenit's search for a creative mid is well documented and we have been saying for a while it is a key piece they need to evolve game and become an actual threat in CL for making a RO16, QF run. They were unable to convince CSKA to sell croatian vlasic, and a move for inter's eriksen was deemed unreasonable by management.

Well it seems they have sights set on Nabil Fekir, reliable AS reports. This would be a transformative signing in the same mould as malcom, imo even better. He is a top class creative mid whose move to liverpool only fell thru a couple seasons ago because of a bizarre development when after everything was agreed his entourage asked for more money (ghoddos esque shit) https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...cal-truth-Lyon

Since then he strangely moved from lyon to real betis and has been their standout player regularly bossing games vs real, barca, atleti.

He is still a regular in france squad, a world cup winner, and seriously would transform zenits midfield with his dribbling ability, passing, shooting. Hope this deal happens.

If it does go through, I can see zenit totally changing lineup for CL matches and dropping dzyuba to impact guy from bench.

                ----------------Barrios-----Ozdoev-------------

                Malcom--------------Fekir----------Driussi

                ----------------------Azmoun----------------

with that midfield supporting him azmoun can elevate his production in CL to new heights and zenit would be a hard proposition for most teams, especially in st petersburg.

Fekir to Liverpool also fell through mostly due to the high risk of losing him for good if he injured that knee again. One more injury could put him out for good - very risky to buy a player who’s hanging from one string. He is obviously a top class player though and hopefully he can stay healthy and help that zenit attack becomes elite in CL.

I thought that as well but the article I posted apparently says the injury thing was mainly bs. I mean he hasnt had much injury problems at all at lyon or betis.

If they actually can pull of that Fekir move then there’s really no reason for Sardar to move anywhere right now unless it’s actually a legit top club with guaranteed playtime which isn’t likely atm

Makes NO SENSE to break up the dzyuba and azmoun duo.

In league no. In CL yes. Zenit are way to weak in midfield department especially vs superior CL opposition to afford playing with 2 midfielders. They get overran like we saw vs benfica, leipzig, villareal.

Also there has been a change this season. Azmoun is now the main man, Dzyuba has fallen slightly off the pace from last couple of seasons (he doesn’t seem fully fit as well).

He's clearly an excellent player but all his highlights only show him shooting or dribbling. For a midfielder, he doesn't seem to pass much which may not benefit Sardar.
