25-year-old signing for three seasons
Mehrdad Mohammadi this Sunday was officially reinforced the Birds for the next three seasons. The 25-year-old Iranian come from Sepahan, his home country, scoring 13 goals after 78 meetings.
The 23-year-old Iran international can play either extreme or second, a polyvalence that, coupled with the technical quality that the emblem has recognized him, has helped convince those responsible to move forward to hiring.
It should be noted that in addition to the Birds, Mohammadi also had the interest of Slavia Prague and AEK Athens.

Good transfer I love the under the radar moves like this - he can be very successful in Portugal he has a good work rate and is a skilled player. Wish this love would have happened for him earlier though he’s passed his development years.
Also an interesting side note - their current coach Augosto Inacio is the former manager of Foolad Khuzestan. Easier to understand how/why Mehrdad was of interest.
