In the bigger scheme of things, it really doesn't matter how things turn out on the final match day for group C & D. It certainly won't be the end of the road for any of the contenders to end up second in their respective groups. Their chances to take the Asian trophy home will remain the same. That said, I am sure somewhere in the back of the mind of both Iran and Korea is to try their best not to meet each other in the quarterfinal and that means they both want to top their groups. For Iran that also means avoiding other contenders until semi final.
