#BHAFC match day income rose 25% (£3.7m) to £18.5m in 2017/18, as average attendance increased from 27,966 to 30,403 and ticket prices were increased by 2-5% in some areas. This revenue was mid-table in the Premier League, ahead of Leicester £16m, Everton £14m and Palace £11m.

Nice info you collected there. It's very good that these smaller clubs invest and try to slowly catch up to those top level teams.
AMEX is a beauty even if it's in the middle of nowhere. Everything around it is farmland.

But I am hoping they can avoid relegation to recoup all that money they invested.

Yes, but I don't think she is. She looks young but I don't think she is actually as young as she looks, is she?

Still have to arrive at Brighton station an hour and a quarter before KO, but that is because of the queues for the crowded trains rather than the distance. it takes me as long to get to the match for only 12 miles as the time of the duration of the game, And the same back home afterwards.

Season ticket waiting list. For the best chance of getting a single game ticket, take out a Bronze membership

In the long term, I think JB joining an EPL team would be good for his development. I am genuinely interested to see how his new muscles will perform in the next TM game.

    BUT....

Given Ajax were interested in him mid-way through last season, I can't help but imagine what it would have been like for him being in that team.

Seeing Ziyech smiling today as Ajax dumped Real Madrid out of the Champions League, remembering what JB was doing last season for a much smaller club, compared to Ziyech...

Maybe he would have been one of the star players of the round for the champions league (similar to Sardar at Zenit), who knows. As a confidence player, I'm sure he would have probably enjoyed being in a free-flowing overstacked Ajax team in the weaker Dutch league more than not receiving passes from a hardworking but less talented BHA team in a very hard league.

Anyway, back to reality. And as I say, at age 25 it is good for him to be challenged. Let's see what happens.

Jahanbakhsh told The Argus: "The position we are in as a team and the Premier League is a different competition to the Dutch League.

"He (Hughton) wants more from me in the defensive part, which I am trying to do.

"Actually as an attacking player you would like to be with a free role in front, just to do your things.

"I know what he wants from me, to also defend sometimes as a winger. That's what I'm trying to improve every single game.

The Argus: "With the national team we've had that a lot of time. In the World Cup we had that. As a team we knew we were facing a bigger team with more quality players. One more player in the defence can help the balance of the team, not to concede any goals.

"That is the same here with the Premier League games. I was doing that quite well in the time I was playing. After that I was injured and away, now I am back I have to get to improve that again, get back to the good shape and what the manager wants from me."

"It's going to be a difficult game there, but we are going to do our best to get the three points.

"It is one of the most important games for the fans and we always play for them, to make them happy, to feel better.

"Now I know more about English fans, our fans especially. They are amazing.

I am willing to bet that by this time next year ARJ will be the most important player for Brighton. Game in, game out.
