"Never broke through in Brøndby: Hard to fall into those surroundings

Daniel Norouzi reached 19 games for Brøndby IF before moving on to his career.

In the spring of 2012, Daniel Norouzi debuted in Brøndby IF, and he quickly became a regular man in the starting lineup of the club, where he also received his football education. But he never made it through, and that is partly due to the club's situation during the period, he believes.

This is what Daniel Norouzi tells Ekstra Bladet.

When Daniel Norouzi was picked up on the first team in the Western Region, the club was at the heavy end of the Super League, while there was also a backlash where the club was in financial trouble. Much of the turmoil around Brøndby did not make it easy for a talent to strike.

    - My lack of breakthrough in Brøndby is a combination of many things. A lot was changed, the team did not work and therefore as a talent it was difficult to fall into that environment, says Daniel Norouzi to Ekstra Bladet and admits that he probably did not do well enough or was ready for Super League football.

Daniel Norouzi left Brøndby IF in 2013 after 19 matches for the first team and has since played for Vejle Boldklub and Næstved BK in the NordicBet League. Today he plays for FC Helsingør in the 2nd division. "
