That's another game where CQ and TM only can loose.

If we beat Japan, people ask why we coulnd't beat a tiny country like oman or Turkmenistan.

If we loos, people will ask for CQs head.

IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

I am pretty sure he won't and that's absolutely fine.

My prediction is 0-0. Going to be a high paced game with a lot of action.

I am sure this will be a great game, hoping for a TM win to give our players a moral boost for the upcoming WCQ matches.

It's a little unorthodox, but I wouldn't mind seeing something like this:

                  --------------------Haghighi------------

                  Rezaeian----Kanaani----Pouraliganji-----Majidi

                  ---------------Ando-------Ezatollahi-----------

                  Torabi---------------Taremi--------------Hajsafi

                  --------------------Azmoun--------------------------

This isn't a lineup I expect to win vs Japan at this stage in the game (though you never know), but maybe throwing them right into the fire will be a valuable experience.

More likely is that we start with a mix of experience and youth, and sub younger players in as the game goes on.

no way CQ would have the courage to experiment like that against a team like Japan.

The problem is that I don't believe that we can win this with anything else than our full strenght team

To me it feels like choosing between trying to win (with full strength lineup) vs giving the younger players some experience.
