I thought the Qatari ref today did a decent job.

Yeah but 2 good arab refs in a row is too good to be true...

I'm a hopeful guy, maybe the stars will align and we get a 2nd decent ref. That and a very fast pace attacking game from TM during the first half just like today.

If we play like we did against Guam...it won't matter if the ref is Bobby Jindal himself!

Losing those 2 points in Turkmenistan really hurt us, so we need to keep pressing the gas pedal, and score as many goals as we can just in case it comes down to goal difference in the end.

But if we only win from now, shouldn't it gives us the top spot in the group??

mates why do we need to worry about arab refs when we are playing likes of guam and india?

i hope one day comes when it doesn't matter if we are facing UAE, Qatar, or any other team in Asia regardless of who the ref is. Don't live it up in the hands of the referee. Finish the game. Finish your opponent. No excuses.

False offside? Attack more. Don't dive like Pooladi? No red cards. Conceding a harsh/fishy goal. Get motivated to finish the game with a win.

The fact that we as fans look for excuses gives TM, its current/future coaches, and IFF an easy way out instead of tackling real issues.
For instance instead of highlighting how weak Iran is in PKs and should improve, everybody was talking about Pooladi's sending off.

Look at Japan. They got screwed big time in Asian Cup. Also a few times the refs screwed them vs. Jordan in the previous WCQ but they still made the WC in style. They didn't give 1 fvck because they're gonna be stronger than ever in WCQ, WC, and Asian Cup.

What I'm trying to say is that...
Injustice exists. Biased arab refs will also exist. That's how the world is in every aspect politically or in sports.
That's why TM should out-do those who are trying to screw us over. Our football has too much potential for us to complain about refs in Asia.
