Many of the VPs who have been brought in will jump at the chance to cut themselves deals. And their possible deals will be testifying against Blatter regarding the arab bribes that he received. He knows it as well and that's exactly why he says "the next few months will not be easy. I am sure more bad news will follow."

The wording they've used is the same wording they use for any FIFA crisis. In the end they don't care. They have a huge audience and market because of the World Cup and they won't be biting the hand that gives that to them.

out of billions of people in this world, can someone explain to me why Prince Ali's is qualified to be FIFA president ?? Surely such a prestigious position can attract much higher qualified people ???? millions of corporate execs ..... MBA's , founders of companies and this guy is it ????

                Career

In 1999, Prince Ali was asked to serve as commander of King Abdullah II′s Special Security in the Royal Guards. He served in that capacity until 28 January 2008, when the king entrusted Prince Ali with establishing and directing a National Centre for Security and Crisis Management.

He is the Chairman of the Board of the Royal Film Commission and is the President of the Jordan Football Association. He is also the founder and president of the West Asian Football Federation, and under his presidency the membership has increased to 13 countries.

Prince Ali announced his candidacy for the position of FIFA Vice President representing Asia on Thursday 7 October 2010. Ali's campaign focused on change, football ideals, and uniting and raising the profile of Asian countries, within FIFA and generally.[6]

Prince Ali won the election for the position of FIFA VP representing Asia (25 votes to 20 for his opponent Dr. Chung Mong Joon) at the AFC Congress that was held in Doha, Qatar, on 6 January 2011. As the newly elected FIFA Vice President, Prince serves as a member of both the FIFA Executive Committee and the AFC Executive Committee.

Prince Ali successfully championed the lifting of FIFA's ban on the hijab in women's football.[7]

Ali was one of a number of FIFA officials to call for the publication of the Garcia Report into allegations of corruption surrounding Russia and Qatar's bids for the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups.[8]

In January 2015, It was announced that Prince Ali will challenge Sepp Blatter for the leadership of FIFA.[

morocco offered 1M, but little did they know that South Africa offered 10M

                    http://sports.yahoo.com/news/fifa-in...224541176.html

"On May 15, 2004, FIFA's executive committee held a vote to select the host nation for the 2010 World Cup. In the running were South Africa, Egypt and Morocco.

Among those in the room that day were Jack Warner and Chuck Blazer, each of whom had a vote.

Several months earlier, Warner, former president of CONCACAF, and Blazer, the former CONCACAF general secretary, travelled to Morocco and met with a member of the country's bid committee. During the meeting, the Moroccan official offered Warner $1 million in exchange for his vote.

Little did the Moroccan official know his bribe wasn't even close; South African officials were prepared to do 10 times better, offering Warner $10 million.

South Africa eventually won the bid, getting votes from Warner, Blazer and one other associate who were all allegedly in on the fix."

yea we all know that, BUT the previous presidents and boards Managed to side-step Prosecution and cleverly snuffed out inquiries in to their scandalous dealings over the years, sure there always been suspicions but NO HARD PROOF Hence they got away with it..!

and compare this to the way our beloved IFF took matters into their hand to fight AFC over that ineligible Iraqi player in the quarter finals ...... that letter which was so well written and did not even have a single misspelled word, really shook AFC.

If FIFA is serious about cleaning up the corruption, they also need to go after these football federations and slap them with a 5 year ban the next time they reach into their pockets to offer bribes. The fact that South africa offered 10M in bribe money is downright criminal. Same with qatar and others.

McCain Urges Military Strikes Against FIFA

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) – Calling the Obama Administration’s actions against the soccer organization “weak and ineffective,” Senator John McCain on Thursday proposed military action to “dismantle and destroy FIFA once and for all.”

“These are people who only understand one thing: force,” McCain said on the floor of the United States Senate. “We must make FIFA taste the vengeful might and fury of the United States military.”

McCain said that he was “completely unimpressed” by the Department of Justice’s arrests of several top FIFA lieutenants this week, calling the action “the kind of Band-Aid solution that this Administration, sadly, has become famous for.”

“Rounding up a few flunkies in a hotel is meaningless when the leader of FIFA remains at large,” he said. “I will follow Sepp Blatter to the gates of Hell.”

McCain requested a four-billion-dollar aid package for moderate elements within global soccer, and said that the United States should be prepared to put boots on the ground in Switzerland.

Calling the use of force against FIFA “long overdue,” he placed the blame for the group’s alarming growth squarely on the shoulders of the White House. “Barack Obama created FIFA,” he said.

I can't find the quote, but when Platini was asked why prince Ali is a good replacement, he said, he is rich. So there is no chance of anyone being able to bribe him
