{"id":55253,"date":"2026-08-30T19:25:07","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T02:25:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/?p=55253"},"modified":"2026-08-30T19:25:07","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T02:25:07","slug":"zahedi-continues-scoring-streak-as-jdt-crush-star-city-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/2026\/08\/30\/zahedi-continues-scoring-streak-as-jdt-crush-star-city-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Zahedi continues scoring streak as JDT crush Star City [VIDEO]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nst.com.my &#8211; KUALA LUMPUR, <strong>Johor Darul Ta&#8217;zim (JDT) delivered another statement of domestic dominance on Saturday, dismantling Star City 7-0 in a one-sided Super League encounter at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brazilian striker Bergson da Silva stole the show with a hat-trick as Xisco Munoz&#8217;s men overwhelmed the visitors from the opening whistle to underline their status as the league&#8217;s dominant force.<\/p>\n<p>Bergson opened the floodgates in the 17th minute before Marcos Guilherme doubled the advantage in the 31st minute.<\/p>\n<p>Bergson struck again six minutes later to make it 3-0 before Kevin David Medina added a fourth in the 42nd minute.<\/p>\n<p>The rout was effectively sealed before the interval when Iranian forward Shahab Zahedi struck deep into stoppage time to send JDT into the break five goals ahead.<\/p>\n<p>There was little respite for Star City after the restart as JDT continued to pile on the pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Right-back Carlos Akapo added a sixth in the 68th minute before Bergson completed his hat-trick nine minutes later to seal a comprehensive victory and claim the match ball.<\/p>\n<p>The win leaves the Southern Tigers with nine points from three games.
