{"id":47768,"date":"2022-12-23T11:32:35","date_gmt":"2022-12-23T19:32:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/?p=47768"},"modified":"2022-12-23T11:32:36","modified_gmt":"2022-12-23T19:32:36","slug":"afc-to-lift-suspension-of-ffiris-club-licensing-ability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/2022\/12\/23\/afc-to-lift-suspension-of-ffiris-club-licensing-ability\/","title":{"rendered":"AFC to lift suspension of FFIRI&#8217;s club licensing ability"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Tehran Times &#8211; TEHRAN, <strong>Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will remove the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) Club Licensing Administration (CLA)\u2019s ability to address and rectify all its deficiencies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Iranian top sides were kicked out&nbsp;of the Asian Champions League (ACL) last season after having their licenses&nbsp;withdrawn by the Asian Football Confederation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACL two-time finalists Persepolis and Esteghlal, winners of the 1970 and 1991 Asian Club Championship \u2013 the forerunner to the Asian Champions League, were kicked out of the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gol Gohar Sirjan, a third Iranian team, were also stripped of their license last year and just Foolad represented Iran in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Committee was apprised of the Club Licensing Administration (CLA)\u2019s ability to address and rectify all its deficiencies following the AFC Club Licensing Task Force\u2019s earlier decision at its meeting on Aug. 24, 2022, to uphold the suspension of the FFIRI CLA.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequently, the Committee approved the latest decision by the AFC Club Licensing Task Force on Dec. 9, 2022, to remove the suspension imposed on FFIRI and agreed for the AFC to continue monitoring the FFIRI CLA\u2019s adherence to the Club Licensing Quality Standard Requirements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tehran Times &#8211; TEHRAN, Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will remove the Football Federation Islamic Republic&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":26307,"featured_media":42349,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[90,84,164,136,165],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-47768","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-c17-asian-competitions","category-c47-featured-news","category-ipl","category-iran-first-division","category-persian-gulf-pro-league"],"views":1219,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/47768","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/26307"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=47768"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/47768\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":47769,"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/47768\/revisions\/47769"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/42349"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=47768"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=47768"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=47768"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
