{"id":31298,"date":"2018-04-04T11:40:04","date_gmt":"2018-04-04T18:40:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/?p=31298"},"modified":"2018-04-04T11:40:04","modified_gmt":"2018-04-04T18:40:04","slug":"it-doesnt-matter-who-scores-in-asian-championship-fereshteh-karimi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.persianfootball.com\/news\/2018\/04\/04\/it-doesnt-matter-who-scores-in-asian-championship-fereshteh-karimi\/","title":{"rendered":"It doesn\u2019t matter who scores in Asian championship: Fereshteh Karimi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tehran Times &#8211; TEHRAN, <strong>Iran women&#8217;s futsal player Feresheh Karimi says that it doesn\u2019t matter who scores in the 2018 AFC Women\u2019s Futsal Championship but all that matters is to defend title in the competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Team Melli will participate in the 2018 AFC Women\u2019s Futsal Championship which will be held in May in Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Iran have been drawn in Group D along with Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian women\u2019s futsal team claimed the title of the first edition which was held in Malaysia in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The 29-year-old scored six goals in the campaign but undoubtedly her most important was the one she notched in the final, a strike which proved enough to hand Team Melli the title.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe second edition will bring more teams together and I think we will have a difficult task to defend our title,\u201d Karimi said in an interview with Mehr news agency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo win the title and to book a place in the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is very important and it\u2019s our main goal but this edition is harder than the previous edition,\u201d Karimi declared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope to score goals for Team Melli but it doesn\u2019t matter who scores in Team Melli but all that matters is to defend title in the competition.
