Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Tractor Sazi of Tabriz football team defeated Saipa 3-0 in the third edition of the four-a-side Shohada Cup on Tuesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the match held in Tehran\u2019s Takhti Stadium, Farzad Hatami scored twice in the 27th and 74th minutes.<\/p>\n

Omid Alishah scored the third goal in the 85th minute with a header.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe took advantage of two matches in the competition. It was a good opportunity for us to prepare our players for the League,\u201d Tractor Sazi coach Yahya Golmohammadi said in the post-match news conference.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe could test some of our unused players in the competition,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Padideh defeated Pars Jonoubi Jam in penalty shootout to finish in third place.<\/p>\n

The first edition of Shohada Cup was held in 2012, where Tractor Sazi won the title after defeating Esteghlal 2-1. <\/p>\n

Saba claimed the title of the second edition, edging past Persepolis 1-0.<\/p>\n
