Tehran Times – MEDELLIN, Iran futsal head coach Mohammad Nazemosharia believes Iran will qualify from Group F of the FIFA Futsal World Cup despite heavy loss against Spain in the first match.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Asian champions suffered a 5-1 defeat against two-time world champions Spain in the first match. Nazemosharia\u2019s men will next take on Morocco on Thursday while Spain meet Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first game in any tournament is very difficult, furthermore we faced Spain who is the best futsal team in the world. We were not at our best form while we had a couple of mistakes and weaknesses but for now we\u2019re focused on Morocco. No one expect Iran to be eliminated in the group stage so we\u2019re going to get the best result in the remaining games,\u201d Iran coach Mohammad Nazemosharia told reports.<\/p>\n

\u201cMorocco is Africa\u2019s champion and we will definitely have a tough game against them. They lost to Azerbaijan in the first game so they want a win to remain in the competition,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup is the 8th edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men’s national teams of the member associations of FIFA.<\/p>\n
