His raise from 2014 to 2015 was $20,000.

His departure leaves the Caps with Costa Rican summer signing Jordan Smith at right back, and centre back Tim Parker as cover at the position. It seems likely that Caps’ coach Carl Robinson will target another right-back in January.

Beitashour, a six-year MLS veteran and Iran international, started 27 games for the Caps in each of the last two seasons and had eight assists combined.

It’s unclear what is coming back Vancouver’s way in return, but given the circumstances, not much. Beitashour would have been lost for nothing in re-entry if selected.

He’ll be a good signing for a Toronto team that conceded 58 goals in 2015, tied for the worst defensive mark in the league.

The Province – Vancouver, TSN’s Kristian Jack first reported that Whitecaps’ right-back Steven Beitashour is…

[87

post-23533","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-c14-ipl-league-persian-gulf-cup
["GET
