Persianfootball.com\u00a0 – ROSTOV, Sardar Azmoun’s FK Rostov as well as Javad Nekounam’s and Karim Ansarifard’s CA Osasuna managed to avoid relegation from Russian Premier League and Spanish Liga Adelante respectively on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rostov, who had been dead last in winter before getting Azmoun on loan from Rubin Kazan, had managed to qualify for the promotion\/relegation playoff where they had won the away leg 1-0 without the slightly injured young Iranian.<\/p>\n

With Azmoun on the bench, they fell behind early in the return leg, but quickly turned things around, making it 3-1 before the Iranian international came in and added the final goal with a beautiful strike.<\/p>\n

Azmoun had already scored three vital goals for Rostov in the regular season, securing seven points for his club in the process.<\/p>\n

In Spain, Osasuna finally managed to avoid relegation in the very last moments of regular time. Without the injured Karim Ansarifard and Javad Nekounam, Osasuna fell down 0-2, but desperately needed a draw to avoid relegation, which they achieved thanks to a brace from David Garcia, who scored in minutes 78 and 90.<\/p>\n

The future of the Iranian couple in Pamplona is nevertheless unclear, with Ansarifard failing to impress in a dismal Osasuna side and Nekounam apparently eyeing the Iranian national team’s assistant coach position.<\/p>\n
