Persianfootball.com – INCHEON, Disastrous opener for Team Omid at the 2014 Asian Games as Vietnam stuns with a huge 4-1 victory over Iran at Ansan Wa Stadium today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nelo Vingada and his Team Omid proved to be ill-prepared for the Asian Games as Vietnam defeated Iran U-23 with goals in minutes 24, 28, 69 and 82. Mosalman scored Team Omid’s only goal at minute 66 from the penalty spot. It must be noted that Iran had a total of 15 shots compare to Vietnam’s 5, however only 5 shots were on target for Iran and 4 for Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Iran’s next match will be on September 18 versus Kyrgyzstan while Vietnam meets the same opponent on September 22. Top two from Group H will advance to next round.<\/p>\n
